The first Electric Vehicle Charging Station in downtown Danbury is officially live. It's located in the Patriot Garage on the right hand side just beyond the entry gates.
“We are proud to partner with the city to help build an infrastructure of charging stations in Fairfield County to help make electric vehicles viable alternatives to fuel,” said Bruce Bennett, owner of Bruce Bennett Nissan in Wilton.
The charging station will be on Nissan's national charging infrastructure list for owners of electric vehicles. Consumers can park in one of the two designated spots, plug in and charge. It’s that easy. Right now, there is no additional cost to charge up in the garage.
Bruce Bennett Nissan brought two 100% electric zero emissions Nissan LEAF vehicles for the first plug-in.
