Ever go to a place that's kind of an unknown gem and think: "This place is great I've got tell my friends!" Then, you change your mind because you'd rather keep it all to yourself. Well, this is one of those moments.
Three words for you: Restaurante Chuy Tacos.
There, now it's out. I can't take it back. This is a delicious gem in Danbury. It's the ultimate late night eats place. It's not really a place, in fact, it's a food truck; and, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night you can depend on Chuy to be parked on Elm Street outside Mambo Cafe.
Best. Tacos. Ever. And, the price can't be beat, just $2 a taco. My favorite is lengua (tongue) with chorizo as a close second choice. I usually get one of each with everything. You have to get your taco with everything: raw onion, fresh cilantro, a squeeze of lime and spicy green sauce.
They are so simple. They are so good.
